Our students won II prize in Group Dance in the Dance competition conducted by St.Mary’s College, Yousufguda.

Our students won I & II prize in Solo Dance in the Dance competition conducted by Shadan Degree College, Hyderabad.

Our students won I prize in Solo Dance in the Dance competition conducted by Istech Business School, Hyderabad.

Our students won I prize in Group Dance in the Dance competition conducted by Badruka College National Festival.

Our students won I prize in Group Dance in the Dance competition conducted by A.G.Church in JAI-HO National Festival.

Mr. Vishal was awarded the Best Choreographer award in the competition conducted by Shadan Degree College.

27 students have enrolled themselves in Air, Army and Naval wings of National Cadet Corps for the year 2010-11.Mr. G. J. Jayaraj, NCC Care taker is supervising and coordinating the NCC activities.

a). Senior Cadet Kalyan Rao of III B.Com

Selected for the Republic Day Parade Camp on 26.10.’10.

Received Rajpath Badge for parade on Republic Day and stood 5th in R.D.Camp.

Selected as the Best Cadet of A.P. representing the 1 Andhra Naval Unit.

Received Governor’s Medal and Chief Minister Medal for the best cadet of A.P.

Won the Prime Minister’s Medal in Prime Ministers Rally in Delhi in 27.01.2010.

Selected as the Leader for leading the Indian NCC team of 10 cadets from all over India, for Youth Exchange programme to visit Sri Lanka, Maldives and Seyshells on ship attachment INS- SHARDUL form 6th October to 5th November, ’10.

He crossed the Equator which is a rare achievement and the saying is that every citizen should respect those who cross the mid earth and survived from sharks and whales.

b). Mr.T.Anand of II A and Mr.Hartish Yadav of IIG B.Com were selected for the Inter Group competitions which was held at Godavari, Kakinada and Vizag in the month of September and October, ’10.

c). Mr. T.S.Anand won Silver medal in Boat Pulling Regatta.

d). Mr.M.N.Raj Kumar of IIB B.Com, Mr.Syed Ali Mehidi & Mr.Ranjith Kumar of IIF were selected for Trekking camp which was held at Kolapur, Maharashtra from 19.11.’10 to 03.12.’10.

35 students have registered as volunteers for National Service Scheme for the academic year 2010-‘11.

On the theme ‘Protect mother nature’ tree plantation was organized on 7.6.’10 and saplings were planted in and around the campus by the staff members.

Blood Donation Camp and Blood Grouping Camp was organized on 10.8.’10 under the auspices of Lions Club. About 100 students donated blood voluntarily

50 students both boys and girls along with the NSS program officer participated in the SADHBHAVANA PEACE rally displaying the placards along the S.P.Road and neighbouring colonies organized by our college on 24.8.’10.

5th Sep. ’09 was observed as Teacher’s Day where the volunteers spoke on the role of teachers and appreciated the commitment of our teachers.

24th Sep.’09 was observed as NSS Day and Principal addressed the students on the importance of being an NSS volunteer and their contribution to the society and the volunteers sang songs of Unity and Integrity.

NSS volunteers and Program Officer attended One Day Training Program organized by NSS Unit, O.U. at Pragati Mahavidyalaya, Koti on 5.10.’10.

5 K Pedal Power organized a healthy jog on 10.10.10 at Necklace Road when our NSS volunteers participated in the program.

20 volunteers including NSS Program Officer, participated in the World Aids Day Event on 1.12.’10 organised by APSACS / DAPCUs.

Wescon ’10 an Inter college Literary and Cultural Festival was organized on 25.11.’10 in the college premises.

Around 1000 students from 70 Junior colleges participated in various competitions like AD-MAD, PISCARY, BUZZER, CRUSH, HENNA, ROUGE,LOCKS, IKEBANA, RANGIOLI, FASHION SHOW, SOLO & GROUP DANCE.
