Convenors of various clubs are coordinating and guiding the students to participate.

Our students participated in various competitions sponsored by other college and private organizations.

Miss. T. Sudha Rani of Second Year B.Com won First prize in Classical Dance competition in connection of 59th foundation day celebrations of Badruka College of Commerce held on 02-082008.

Our students won Second prize in Group Dance competition in Sanskriti-2008 organized by St. Francis Degree College for Women on 25-08-2008.

Our students won Third prize in Group Dance competition in Bhavanotsav-2008 organized by Bhavan’s Vivekananda Degree College on 28th and 29th August 2008.they also participated in English Essay Writing, Ad-Games, Business Quiz and Ad-Marksmen Competitions.

Our students won First prize in Group Dance and One Act Play in the Inter College Cultural Competitions organized by O.U., Hyderabad from 10th – 13th November, 2008. They are representing O.U in the Inter Varsity cultural Competitions to be held in Kerala.

50 students have enrolled themselves in Air, Army and Naval wings of National Cadet Corps for the year 2008-09.Mr. G. J. Jayaraj, NCC Care taker is supervising and coordinating the NCC activities.

Inter Group Competetions (IGC) :- Mr M.Ravinder Reddy , G.Uprnder Reddy, Vinod Kumar Singh , G.Narender of B.Sc II F, B.Gopal I F, T.Sandeep I G. P.J. vinay Kumar II C and Divya II F participated in the IGC camp held from 28th july to 12th August 2008.

IGC –Kakinada –B.Kalyan Rao IC M.Rajesh Babu IF , N.B.Karthik IIB participated in the IGC camp held at kakinada from 10th to 23rd September 2008

Annual Training Camp (ATC –I)- 17 cadets of our college participated in the ATC-I held from 10th to 22nd June ,2008

ATC-II –Vijayendra Pawar IIB ,Rosy singh ID ,Bishal Singh IIB participated in the ATC camp held at Bison Polo Grounds from 12th to 22nd November ,2008

Pre-Republic Day Camp-I-N.B.Karthik IIB, A.Kalyan IC & M.Rajesh IF were selected and participated in the camp held in August ,2008

Pre-Republic Day Camp-II-N.B.Karthik IIB & A.Kalyan IF were selected and participated in the camp held in October ,2008

Pre-Republic Day Camp-III-N.B.Karthik IIB & A.Kalyan IC were selected and participated in the camp held in December ,2008

50 students both boys and girls along with the NSS program officer participated in the SADHABHAVANA PEACE rally displaying the placards along the SP Road and neighbouring colonies organized by our college on 19.08.2009.

98 students have registered as volunteers for NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME for the academic year 2009-10. Mrs.Esther Spurgeon, N.S.S Officer is organizing and coordinating all the programmes.

N.S.S Volunteers participated in the Sadbhawana Peace March on 19.8.2008.

Conducted Orientation Training for the N.S.S volunteers by LION’S club on 28.8.08.

Blood Donation Camp was organized on 28-8-2008 by N.S.S unit of our college under the auspices of Lions Club of Hyderabad, Mega city. About 100 students have donated blood voluntarily and were awarded an insurance of Rs.50,000/-for one year.

5th September 2008 was observed as Teacher’s Day where the N.S.S Volunteers spoke on the role of teachers and appreciated the commitment of our teachers.

8th September 2008 was observed as International Literacy Day and the volunteers participated in the seminar organized by the college.

24th September 2008 was observed as N.S.S Day.Competitions in Essay writing and Painting was conducted.

2nd October 2008 was observed as International Non-Violence Day on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi. Dr.B.krishna Rao, Vice-Principal addressed the volunteers and an oath/pledge of spreading Communal Harmony and peace was taken led by Samdani of III D.

Quami Ekta week was observed on 25.11.2008. Seminars were conducted on National Integration Day.

World AIDS Day: 1st December,2008 was observed as World AIDS Day. N.S.S voluntees gave a power point presentation on the cause and effects. Dr.B.Krishna Rao, Mr.B.Murali & Dr.M.J.Eliot spoke on the issues relating to precaution,prevention and cure of AIDS. Saleh Mohammed and Shoiab Baig of B.Com 1D spoke on AIDS&AVERT.

Sirish, Dinesh, Srikar & Shashiksnth of B.Com 1C distributed gifts to the children of Wesley Boy’s Hostel from their own contribution on the occasion of children’s day

The college organized N.S.S Winter Camp at Govt.High School, Ameerpet from 10.1.09 to 16.1.09 where Literacy and Health Camps were conducted. Tree plantation was also organized.50 N.S.S volunteers participated in the camp.
